In our last post we discussed the importance of the use of the letter eñe. Below are some words with “ñ”. One tip: If your keyboard doesn´t have the Spanish layout, you may type the eñe by pressing and holding ALT and 164.

The suggestion: to use the keyboard combination of “Alt” and 164 to form the letter “ñ” and 165 for “Ñ” 168 for “¿” 0161 for ¡ or to form accented vowels “á, é, í, ó, ú” by combining “Alt” with 160, 130, 161, 162, 163, respectively, only works on full-sized keyboards with numeric keypad. I’m not able to accomplish this feat on my laptop. I am not sure if laptops that have a number pad that can be activated using the Fn (function) key will do it. Milton,
